Springboard to a DCS - First Nations
OBJECTIVES AND PROGRAM SPECIFICS
The Springboard to a DCS pathway provides a flexible learning approach. It offers students a variety of courses adapted to their needs so that they can start or complete a program of study leading to a Diploma of College Studies (DCS).
A student may be enrolled in the Springboard to a DCS pathway for a maximum of three consecutive fall or winter semesters.
COLLEGE-LEVEL OPTIONS
This pathway provides an introduction to college studies and a springboard to pursuing or completing a program leading to a DCS.
The pathway is for you if you would like to:
- Pursue a college program for which you are missing prerequisites;
- Complete one year or more at the Centre d’études collégiales à Chibougamau in order to pursue further collegial studies;
- Pursue college studies even though you have not made your final choice yet.
In any case, once admitted into your program, your semesters will be lighter as you’ll have already taken several of the general education courses.
