Activate your Microsoft 365 account

You should activate your Microsoft 365 account right away so you can access all the CECC’s digital environments.

We strongly recommend you watch the short video, which contains important information explaining how to activate your account. 

After you complete the activation procedure, it may take up to 24 hours before your Microsoft 365 account is active.

Access Col.Net

Col.Net is our College’s education management platform. Among other things, you can use it to:

  • View your course schedule
  • Access your academic results
  • Contact your teacher
  • Send documents
  • Find out important dates and receive some of the College’s announcements

 

How to log in to Col.Net

To log in to Col.Net, all you need to do is enter the username and password associated with your Microsoft 365 account (you must activate your Microsoft 365 account first, as otherwise you won’t be able to authenticate yourself and access Col.Net).

Once you can access your Col.Net account, make sure that you update your contact details under the Personal file tab in the menu on the left. It is especially important that we have your up-to-date phone number on file so we can quickly reach you if we need to.

Download the Coba Campus app

To ensure that you can receive notifications and easily access certain learning activities* you need to download the Coba Campus app.

*Please note that you will sometimes still need to access the full site, as not all the features are available on a smartphone or tablet, such as your confirmed courses, for example.

How to install Coba Campus on your mobile device

  1. Go to your Col.Net application.
  2. Click on the download link for the app for Android or Apple (black rectangle)

Use the same credentials as your Col.Net. Don’t forget to select the institution Centre d’études collégiales à Chibougamau during the installation and activate notifications in the Settings’ section.

Are you still having problems logging in to your accounts even though you have followed the procedures outlined in the video tutorial?  Get in touch with the IT support team right away and ask for help by filling out the following form:

If you are unable to access the network, you can phone the IT support team at 418-679-5412, Extension 4401.

When leaving a voicemail message, please make sure you include your name, a phone number where you can be reached and the reason you are calling.
